At present, the Proutypedia entry serves both as entry on Proutypedia and as splash page, a sort of introduction and commercial for Proutypedia whenever someone travels to Proutypedia.com. The latest edit, while a net improvement and featuring language appropriately qualified for an entry, could afford to be perhaps a little less indirect in light of the page's dual purpose. I've lightly edited it with that end in mind -- hopefully giving no offense!
Without any note explaining the latest edit, I have assumed it to be based on the idea that the *current* Wiki entry does not impute to Prouty holocaust denial. (Though looking at it, the insinuation seems stronger in the other direction -- that Prouty was a holocaust denier more than an anti-Semite per se).
I've added language to emphasize the evolving nature of the Prouty entry over time, along with condensing the anti-Semitism and holocaust denial into a single clause. The latest edit, as it stood, was missing an 'and' in any case, and could be regarded as grammatically incorrect. Gullion's Ghost (talk) 08:26, 6 August 2014 (CDT)
Main Page Rewrite
Per Len's request, I have reworked the Main Page text. Emphasis on specific smears against Prouty is lessened while trying to still give an honest account of the reason for Proutypedia's formation. The scope and the absurdity of the claims made about Prouty on Wikipedia are to my mind surest sign of their falsehood - how can they all be true? - but in order not to scare off readers who are easily intimidated, specific charges against Prouty made on Wikipedia, for example, can be found detailed in the Wikipedia entry and are no longer named on the Main Page.
